Ok, so once you have your baby and you daily watch them grow its hard to step back and see all the changes in your little one. Out of no where you're like, "Oh my gosh, I cant believe you just did that! You are getting so big!" All along the way there has been this measurement in my head that was the official, 'goodbye baby months, hello toddler years." The number? 18 months. The exact age our son turned on my birthday. I had to swallow hard and finally admit; he isnt a baby anymore. No longer can I hold him like a baby in my arms (his legs hand like a foot past my side) or get him to nap wherever we are (oh...its exhausting). Landon is turning into a little boy, and a very cute, sweet, and smart one at that! As much as I miss my little baby, I am so proud of my little boy. I feel like there is so much I want to say and dont even know where to begin. So, like past posts, I will list:
Favorite Activities:
*Coloring
*Reading Books
*Jumping like a crazy fool from couch to couch
*Brushing his teeth

Temperament:
Temperament:
For the most part Landon is seriously such a great little guy. He defiantly got his dad's temperament. Laid back, easy going. But I wont lie, my child is not perfect. He defiantly gets unhappy and throws his version of mild temper tantrums. The process...
1.) "Nohhhhwah!"
2.) Fists clenched "Auhgggh" (scream)
3.) Pouty lip, crying starts
4.) Covers face with hands
5.) Bends over placing forehead on the floor
6.) Sits for seriously 5 whole minutes sometimes not making any noise
He also has the most tender heart. When we tell him no, which is getting more and more frequent the older he gets and the more he understands, he rarely gets mad. Instead, he gets SOOOOO sad. He pouts his lip, looks away, buries his head, tears slowly form in the his eyes but he wont let us see or hear them. He literally is overflowing with sadness at the thought of disappointing us. It is SOOO hard to punish him, but we know its for the best and keep pushing on.
Here are a few of my favorite recent pics of our TODDLER...
I instituted Craft Time as of 2009. Our first craft was coloring...which he LOVES!!!! Here are some pictures of his first time coloring.

Watching a plane go by
This is probably one of my all time favorite pictures. It ABSOLUTELY captures Landon, as I know him. Sometimes there are cute pictures just because of what they are doing or sometimes they show a certain face they make sometimes. This picture here, this is Landon as I know him all day every day. Frame it!

Happy 18 months Landon!
Cute! I've been meaning to write an update like this of Bailey, need to get on that!
She covers her face when she's upset too :-)
wow I can't believe 18 months have gone by already. I remember meeting for coffee not long after he was born and it was the first time you left him... seems like it was just yesterday. You are such an amazing mom. Landon is so lucky to have you and Kirk as his parents!
P.S. I love his hat w/ the bill on it! too cute!
What a cutie, lucky to have such a great photographer Mom to document it along the way :)
That was such a cute blog. I seriously almost cried. It is so sad how one day they grow up to be little men, and know so much. The other day Jaxon had to correct Jay. He has this toy zebra and Jay called it a giraffe and Jaxon looke at him and said "no, zebra" It was the funniest thing. Jay looked at me and said "I was corrected by a 2 year old. You guys are going to have to have another baby soon so you can have your baby back!:)
