Family Pictures!

This morning we had our family pictures taken! I LOVE having family pictures taken. Clearly, Im partial to portrait photography in general, but I really love to have our pictures done, too. My mind thinks in photograph form (may have something to do with my occupation....not sure.) Anyhoo, when I think about my family and dream about what will be, I always think about family pictures. I picture a family photo when my kids are teenagers (there is always 4 kids in the photo I imagine, is that weird?!). I love having pictures done now, knowing I will always look back on them with such warm feelings. Its so fun, too, to capture our little family as it grows. Last year we had pictures done and Lydia was just a few months old. Now miss Sass was working her diva self, walking around (still assisted). Im not gonna lie, they didn't go great. Landon was his cute little self, who seems to think the bigger the smile the better. Lydia was tired, hungry, poppy...who knows. She just wasn't having it. We got a few, which is all you really need.

My friends Jordan and Lianne of Joli Photographie did the pictures for us, and I will be editing them (that is the most time consuming part so I didn't want to burden them.) They did such a great job, as usual, and Im so blessed to have them at my disposal!

 Anyhoo, I thought I would share a picture that explains pretty much how the day went.

This shows that EVERY family has chaos at their shoot. Every family shoot I do parents feel like their kids are being crazy and making it impossible. Rest assured, it happens to all of us.
