Owen starts kindergarten this Fall!

I cant even believe it but Owen is turning 6 next month and is starting kindergarten. As tradition, grandma took him school clothes shopping. And, as tradition, he had to give us all a fashion show with the new duds he aquired. Such a little stud:)
Margo is sure going to miss her brother while he is at school.

Little Man's recent quirks

Ok, so I dont have anything specific to update so I decided to just list the incredible cute things Landon is doing these days:

1.) Good Morning Macy- Every morning when Landon sees Macy for the first time he goes, "Sstss." Why you may ask? Well his daddy regularly plays with Macy by saying "Sstss, get it Macy!" So, of course our little copy cat follows suit. It is adorable.

2.) Bonk!- Landon has started a new game, I call it bonk. Im sure this game will bite me in the butt here in a few months but for now, its really cute. He looks at you, smiles mischievously, and that leans in for a forehead 'bonk.' HE repeats this several times, giggling harder and harder each time. Some times when he is tired he'll do a softer head tilted version (equally adorable.)

3.) Pouty Face- Now I KNOW that this one will get old eventually but for now, once again, adorable. This little man seriously has the SADDEST face I have ever seen. If he is tired, upset, mad, (any negative emotion) his entire face scrunches, the lip falls out, the eye brows tilt. It is unreal. And you cant help but laugh. Sometimes the face is accompanied my crying, but mostly it is with an occasional pause and peeking out of the corning of his eye so make sure his tactics are working.

Lastly....
4.) Dada- Landon says Dada for most things, even Mama! Isnt that adorable....NOT! Seriously kid, did you forget who carried you for 9 months, BIRTHED YOU, nursed you for 11 months, and takes care of you EVERY day...can you say "M-A-M-A?!?!" If you havent caught my sarcasm by now....this is NOT a cute little quirk. Hopefully it will pass ASAP!

Those are my top pics from this stage.....:)

The new Mr. and Mrs. Philips!

Just as I expected, the wedding was amazing. It was so tender, so heart felt, so Christ cenetered I was so honored to be apart of it. And, just looking over our friendship over the last 6 years, it is a God thing that we are still so close. We have very differnet personalities, especially when we first met, but yet over the years we have melded and become more and more similar. A God thing. Just like her uncle shared at their wedding, relationships sharpen us...and Lianne has definatly sharpened me and I am so blessed by that.

Jordan is this amazing man that will no doubt love, honor, and respect my friend for the rest of their lives. Both families, the Philips and the Hoffmans, are such great examples of Christ centered, devoted, loving families it was just such a joy to spend time with them and learn things that I want to make sure to instill in my family as we grow through the years. Thank you, everyone, for letting me share in this day.

Ok, but seriosuly, I check me email Sunday and I have an email from the bride and groom...from 11:10p the night before. Ya, first thing after their reception they email all their friends and family to tell them they love them and thank you for all of our support. Umm..shouldnt they have been doing something else?! This is so Lianne...such a big heart. That is why I love her so much.
