Inside (along with candy, a balloon, sticky hand, etc) was a little teeny temporary tattoo of a puppy. I saw it first and quickly snagged it so he wouldnt see it. I told him to stick out his arm and I wetted a wash cloth and applied the puppy tat to his wrist. He looked down, "WOW! A puppy! Cool mama!" He walked around holding out his wrist and looking at it in amazement. I chuckled at his cuteness than went back to unloading the dishwasher. He went into the living room to watch cartoons....for like 30 seconds....before running back into the kitchen crying for me to take the puppy off. I told him that we would have to wait until bath time for it to come off and he just about lost it. He was holding his arm out as far away from himself as possible and turning his head in the opposite direction. Terrified by the puppy on his wrist! Finally after telling him yet again that we would have to wait till bath time he says, "O....k...(very Eeore esk)" and walks away...arms still stretched out. Than, like 2 minutes later he is yelling from the couch in tears that he needs to put cream on it. (With his exzema, cream is the answer to every owie. Anytime he has an owie, we have an owie, anybody...he says, "Oh you need cream on it?") I broke down and took him into the bathroom to scrub off the puppy.
Of course, after I took some photos:) You can see the saddness in his "puppy dog" eyes.
