Hawaii 2010~ Snapshots

Ok...so Im blogging today! The thought of catching up since the last time I blogged seriosuly gives me anxiety (which is easy to do...thank you pregnancy hormones). So I decided I would just keep it brief and try to get back in the groove of quick and easy blog posts of our life:)

That said....can I express how much I hate the new image uploader for blogger? What the heck?!! Takes for ever and you have to individually insert the pictues. Lame-O! Anyhoo, that is why there are only a few snapshots from our 2 week trip to Hawaii. Im too irritated to keep uploading more!

Highlights:

-Puka Dogs...best hot dogs EVER. Mango relish, secret sauce, hawaiin sweetbread bun. Literally worht the $6.50 (even compared to the $1.50 Costco dog and drink. And those of you who know me know I love me a Costco dog!)

-Landon spinning blissfully in the pool with all his floaties and goggles...daily:)

-Taking maternity shots out on a little beach a rock bluff with Kirk.

-Our date night at Dukes.

-I literally cant think of anything but Puka Dogs right now..... ha!

Hello 'followers.' :)

So I feel like a dork. Here I went and made our blog private and than have YET to actually blog about anything. And yet, I still dont have time. As I sit down to finally do some catch up, Lando is deciding to wake up an hour early from his nap. Shower...not yet. I better get going.

Just wanted to post SOMETHING because Ive gotten a lot of emails from people wondering why they werent included in the switch over. Dont worry, your were:) I just suck at this right now!!!

I'm gonna be a "Soul Aunt!"

Im so ridiculously excited for my friends Amy (my soul sista from Fox) and hubby Jake who are currently at the hospital working on getting little Avery into this world! Poor Amy was due last Sunday and had a whole lot of nothin going on with her pregnant little body:( I had been checking in on her and trying to give encouragement over the last few days because I soooo remember the feeling of waiting...waiting...waiting. Last night I drove over to see her and take her a journal and some flowers. It was so nice to just sit and chat (trying to keep her mind off of labor...yet we talked a lot about it!) This morning they made the journey into the hospital and now we just wait for the good news!!! I remember every detail of my labor with Landon and as crazy as it sounds...I LOVED it all. The most incredible experience of my life...even with all the pain. And that moment you meet your child and the hours following....God didnt create words to express it. It warms my heart to no end when my friends get to experience that moment to. Today is Amy's day:)

Love you Amers! You can do this girl! Lord...I pray for an incredible experience, an ability to focus and relax, and for seemingly impossible strength. May this, too, be an experience you will treasure for the rest of your life with your daughter:) Cant wait to meet you miss Avery Lane!

Gone Private....

Oh, and here is a cute little picture of Mr. Lando. One his FAV things to do is ride his little car and trike outside. FINALLY we got some sun so he could enjoy himself!

p.s. I love this picture for obvious cute little guy reasons, but also because I didnt TOUCH it in photoshop. This is how the picture took. I thought it had a cool effect:)
