Gone Private....

This is just a reminder post that we have made our family blog private, so if you recieved an invitation to view our blog and didnt know why....that's why:)

Oh, and here is a cute little picture of Mr. Lando. One his FAV things to do is ride his little car and trike outside. FINALLY we got some sun so he could enjoy himself!

p.s. I love this picture for obvious cute little guy reasons, but also because I didnt TOUCH it in photoshop. This is how the picture took. I thought it had a cool effect:)

Going Private...

So Ive decided to make our family blog go private. With the arrival of our little girl coming up, and knowing how pictures of our kids and family are just sort of...well...out there, it just makes sense. If you would like to subscribe to the blog make sure to leave your email as a comment so I can add you to the list. I will make it private beginning of next week.

I've also decided to create a personal blog. I really enjoy writing posts about what God is showing me in life and sharing it at the hopes that my experiences and journey could encourage someone else's. Ive had people I dont even know leave comments before, sharing how my post encouraged or challeneged or reaffirmed something to them. That means the world to me. So, that blog will be public. You can find it at:

(Umm..you totally cant go there yet because I havent prettied it up yet:) That will be another naptime! But check back in about a week and it should be up and going. Oh, and if you do cheat and go there early....be prepared to be bored:)

It's a....

GIRL!!!

Miss Lydia Luoto to make her entrance early August!

Just as a disclaimer: if it had been a boy I would have loved him to the ends of the earth and never thought twice. That said....I sOOOOOO wanted a girl! When the tech asked Landon is he was up for having a little sister I went into shock. It seemed too good to be true. Still does, but I am so thrilled!

We decided on the name Lydia for a few reasons. It was my grandma Barb's mom's name which was cool to use a family name. Kirk and I also equally loved it so the choice was pretty easy. A few middle names in the balance but not feeling any rush to pick one for sure quite yet!

Here she is!
