So after little Miss Kenzie went down for her nap we went out and shot some pics of just KC and Lisa. Today is KC's surgery to remove his lymph nodes so they wanted to try and get some fun pics in before they start the next leg of their journey. Still not sure how this next turn will take them, these two people are some of the most encouraging people I know. Through out this entire scary process, they have never ONCE doubted the presence of the Lord. They have had joy in their hearts and been aware of the FULL presence of God. They have been grateful for every blessing through out the suffering. And their love- storybook. High school sweethearts, BEST friends. This is a couple who can make eachother laugh in the Oncologist waiting room. God knew that if any two people could get through this with smiles, it would be KC and Lisa. There is a draw to them, and everyone feels it. They are kind, generous, hysterical, honest, and full of the Spirit of the Lord. I am SO thankful to have gotten to record this love through some photos yesterday, but Im even MORE thankful to be able to call them my best friends.
